Hydrolyzed Animal Protein is a “Flavour Enhancer” used in processed foods like soups, chilli, sauces, gravies, strews, potato chips & pretzels. Hydrolyzed Animal Protein is a protein derived from various animal sources such as selected blend of Fish. Hydrolyzed Animal Protein (HAP) is a fine, free flowing, spray dried powder derived from selected fish. It is light yellow to golden brown coloured Liquid with typical meaty flavour. Hydrolyzed Animal Protein should be packed in tightly closed containers.


Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Hydrolyzed Animal Protein (HAP)

Hydrolyzed Animal Protein (HAP) is produced by boiling foods in hydrochloric acid and then neutralizing the solution with sodium hydroxide. The process is carried out in controlled conditions to prevent bacterial contamination during the process.
